A new anti-ageing product now promises visibly smoother-looking skin in just one minute.

For years, the cosmetics industry has pursued the goal of reducing wrinkles as quickly as an injection can - but without needles, appointments or leaving home. A combination pharmacy-skincare product containing collagen and hyaluronic acid is now attracting attention: it is said to make expression lines visibly less noticeable after the very first use, offering a gentle alternative to botulinum treatments.

What is behind the new collagen- and hyaluronic acid-based wrinkle filler

The concept is straightforward: rather than relying on individual active ingredients in isolation, the formula brings together several forms of hyaluronic acid with marine pro-collagen, alongside smoothing plant and marine extracts. The result is intended to be a kind of “2-in-1 wrinkle filler”, combining immediate results with longer-term skincare.

The manufacturer describes the texture as “silicone like”: creamy, exceptionally fine and leaving an instantly soft-focus finish. This does not refer to a genuine silicone coating, but to a skin feel that creates a smoother surface - similar to that of a professional make-up primer.

The formulation is designed not merely to support a skincare routine in the background, but to deliver visible smoothing immediately after application - especially on the forehead, crow’s feet and nasolabial folds.

Four types of hyaluronic acid: why the combination matters so much

Hyaluronic acid has long been a staple of anti-ageing skincare. The approach becomes particularly interesting when different molecular sizes are combined, as each one works in a different layer of the skin. That is precisely the principle used by this new wrinkle filler:

  • High-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid: remains largely on the skin’s surface, attracts water and creates an immediately smoothing, subtly plumping film.
  • Medium-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid: penetrates slightly further, helping to improve elasticity and support suppleness.
  • Low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid: can reach deeper skin layers, where it acts as a hydrating filler that retains moisture for longer.
  • Hyaluronic acid microspheres: these expand when they come into contact with moisture in the skin, visually filling fine lines from within.

Together, these components are intended to provide a layered result: instantly visible smoothing at the surface and more intensive hydration in deeper layers, which may improve skin texture over time.

Marine pro-collagen, alfalfa and ferments: support for the skin matrix

Hyaluronic acid is only one part of the picture. For skin to remain firm, it needs a stable collagen framework. This is where so-called marine pro-collagen comes in. These are collagen fragments derived from marine sources, which are intended to stimulate the skin’s own collagen production and support the elastic structure of connective tissue.

The product also contains an alfalfa extract. The plant is rich in secondary plant compounds and is frequently used in natural cosmetics to leave mature skin feeling more supple and to ease mild sensations of tightness. Another component is a marine ferment active, intended to strengthen the skin barrier and make the overall complexion appear smoother.

The combination of hyaluronic acid, pro-collagen and plant-marine actives is intended both to conceal fine lines in the short term and to work on skin structure over the longer term.

How the “1-minute effect” is intended to work

According to the manufacturer, a visible effect can be seen in around 60 seconds. This is made possible by a blend of optical smoothing ingredients and expanding actives. Immediately after application, the texture forms an ultra-fine film over the targeted area, visually evening out small irregularities.

At the same time, the hyaluronic acid combination starts to draw in moisture. The microspheres increase in size once they meet moisture in the skin. This creates a gentle “plumping effect”, making fine lines appear less pronounced.

Precision applicator: applying it “line by line”

One notable feature is the packaging. Rather than a jar or conventional tube, the product uses a specialist tube brush. Its tip makes it possible to place the product directly into the small indentation of each wrinkle - much like using a fine pen.

The recommended method of application is as follows:

  • Cleanse the face as usual, then apply toner and moisturiser.
  • Gently squeeze the tube and apply a tiny amount directly into the affected line, such as a forehead line, crow’s feet or the lip contour.
  • Lightly pat it in with a fingertip or spread it with small smoothing movements until the film blends in.
  • After a short wait, make-up may be applied over it.

When using it underneath foundation in particular, it is worth carrying out a quick test to see how the product works with your own make-up, so that it does not later pill or settle.

What users reported in an initial study

The manufacturer states that the product was assessed in a small self-evaluation involving 21 participants. They used the wrinkle filler in everyday life and rated its effects subjectively. The reported results are clear:

Observation Percentage of participants
Wrinkles appear less visible around 90%
Plumping effect noticeable within 1 minute 95%
Face appears younger after 28 days of use 80%

The figures sound impressive, but they are based on subjective assessments from a small test group. Clinical studies involving larger groups have not yet been conducted. Even so, the claims indicate the product’s intended purpose: a multi-step routine for anyone wishing to address wrinkles more gently.

An alternative to Botox? Where the limits lie

The comparison with botulinum injections is an obvious one, as these smooth expression lines by temporarily relaxing the muscles. A topical wrinkle filler cannot fully replicate that result, because it works only at the surface and has no effect on muscles.

For many people, however, a softer visual appearance is enough for everyday use, particularly if they wish to retain facial expression. There is another important difference: the effect of a skincare product depends heavily on consistent use, the condition of the skin and realistic expectations. Anyone expecting deep furrows to disappear within seconds may be disappointed. Fine lines and early wrinkles, on the other hand, can often be noticeably softened.

Risks, tolerance and who the product may suit

Anti-ageing products containing hyaluronic acid and collagen are generally considered well tolerated, as they consist largely of substances that naturally occur in the body. However, people with sensitive or allergy-prone skin should always check the complete ingredient list.

Common ingredients that sensitive skin may react to include:

  • Fragrance and essential oils
  • Preservatives
  • Certain emulsifiers or surfactants

If you are unsure, test the product on a small area first, such as along the jawline. If redness, stinging or tightness occurs, use should be stopped.

How to incorporate the wrinkle filler sensibly into a skincare routine

The new collagen-hyaluronic acid filler is not a replacement for a complete routine, but an addition to one. Ideally, it forms part of a clear sequence:

  • Morning: gentle cleansing, toner, an antioxidant serum such as vitamin C, day cream, targeted wrinkle filler and sunscreen.
  • Evening: thorough cleansing, an active serum such as retinol or peptides depending on skin type, night cream and wrinkle filler on heavily affected areas.

A collagen strategy can be significantly more effective when paired with sunscreen, as UVA rays are regarded as one of the biggest causes of collagen damage. Without consistent protection, any anti-ageing skincare routine is working against ongoing exposure.

Why collagen and hyaluronic acid are so often used together

Many products in the anti-ageing aisle now rely on a combined collagen and hyaluronic acid strategy. Collagen provides structure, while hyaluronic acid contributes volume and hydration. As collagen levels decline over the years, skin loses firmness and wrinkles become more deeply set. At the same time, when moisture is lost, lines look sharper and more visible.

Addressing both aspects at once can create a more balanced overall appearance: skin not only looks smoother in the short term, but may remain plumper for longer with good skincare and a healthy lifestyle. Factors including enough sleep, limited nicotine, a balanced diet and moderate exposure to UV radiation can significantly enhance the effect.

Anyone investing specifically in a highly concentrated wrinkle filler should therefore keep one point in mind: the tube alone will not solve every problem, but it can be a valuable tool within a well-planned routine - particularly when quick results are wanted for work, events or simply when looking in the mirror.
